Our Journey to Community
We are a small group of Christ followers who gather every couple of weeks to share our joys, our triumphs, our sorrows, our struggles and our lives. We are running a race together...it's a race called LIFE. "Therefore, since we are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensares us and let us run with endurance the race set before us, loking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith..." Hebrews 12:1-2a

Prayer for my mom
I just want to thank all of my wonderful lifelines friends for praying for my mother. She went and saw the neurologist today and they found out that she has carpol tunnel and nerve damage on her left side of her body. They need to do testing on her right side of her body. She goes on Monday Jan 21st to be tested to see if when she is sleeping she has seizers. The doctor said it is hard to determine what is really going on but this could very well be a bad case of vertigo with a virus. So please keep mom in your prayers.I know God will take care of her and pull her out of all of this.It is just hard to see your own mother going through such a hard time of trying to get well. Thanks,Sandra

Sunday Night Wrap Up
Hi Friends!Sunday night was great and we missed those of you who were unable to attend. (Robert, we didn't know how to act without having you around to lead the line!)As a recap, Dexter and I will be assuming the LifeLine leadership role from Tony and Ginger, and things will stay virtually the same. For those of you who were intrested in sharing/leading a discussion, please let us know and we will make sure that you have the opportunity to do that. So, be thinking about where we started last night with Phillipians 3:10. In the coming weeks, we will be studying the remainder of the verse. So, be thinking about what we started with and bring lots of discussion for next time! Here's the amplified version again:[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [[a]which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His deathPrayer Requests from last night:Tim, while on his business tripBecky and Jon, friends of Jeanette and DanSandra and Jeanette's MomRon, for decisions that need to be made in the coming weeksSheryl and Tony for wisdom to deal with situations in their homeJD, Amy's friendLove you all! I hope you have a fabulous week!Amy
